I hadn't been to a Billy Joel Concert since the "Storm Front" Tour and I wore my 20 year old tour T-shirt with Pride and that it had actually lasted that long was AMAZING, and the fact that it still actually fitted, even though it was somewhat a tad snugger shall we say, was even more INCREDIBLE!

I will say that I enjoyed seeing Billy perform again, and if he and Elton bring the "FACE TO FACE 2" Tour to Brisbane, then I would DEFINITELY be going, with or without my wifes blessing! But I'm not sure if Billy doesn't get the Australian Audience, we've just come from a hard day at work and we would just prefer to sit back, relax and enjoy the music, and be entertained, after all Billy that is your job, is it not? To Entertain? That is what we paid our hard earned dollars for, to be ENTERTAINED, and YOU did say that you were trying to keep costs down by not having extravagent stages, but when the most expensive seat is $350 it's a bit of a scam, a rip off, and I'm glad that I'm not that bigger sucker that paid that sort of money for 2 hours of you performing.

I first saw you on "The Bridge" Tour in Brisbane back in 1987, a ticket that cost me about $30 back then, and yes I know that it is now 22 years ago and both you and I are 22 years older, but NEIL YOUNG puts more into a show now, compared to what you do! It's almost as though you're just going through the motions, and that you've got other things on your mind, and better things to do with your time than to actually ENTERTAIN. You may have sung "THE ENTERTAINER" that night and yes the masses walked away pleased, but Billy, if your SOUL is not in it then it's time to move on, after all, "It's All About Soul!"

Billy, I LOVE your Music, the first album I ever bought was Glass Houses, on Vinyl, I still have it! I'll continue to enjoy your music, and listen to it. I'm still a fan, but 2 days after turning 39, and YES the tickets were a Birthday Present, I walked away after seeing you perform for the 4th time in my life, feeling let down for the 1st time by your performance.
