I have seen Billy three times now in Australia and each one is a little different. What was great about this gig was that Biily performed songs from the albums that were not the hits on them, for example Zanzibar from 52nd Street. Great song from a great album.
As always the music was great, the reason you go and not for the effects, and the band seemed to be enjoying themsleves, always a good sign.
I took someone with me who hadn't been before and after about ten minutes told me that this was such a good show. The song list was great, though I thought "The Stranger" might have got a run given thirty year anniversary edition out this year. No big deal though.
So a great gig, great sound, enough passion and fun in the band and a playlist for perhaps both the fans and Billy himself.
Keep rocking Billy and may we all continue to enjoy the ride.
