Billy Joel made a surprise guest appearance at New York’s Madison Square Garden, October 29, 2009, joining Bruce Springsteen, The E Street Band, and fellow band mates Mark Rivera (sax) and Tommy Byrnes (guitar), to close the first night, of a two- night celebration, ringing in The Rock and Roll Hall of fame’s 25th anniversary. The first night’s superstar lineup included Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Dion, Sting, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, John Fogerty, Jackson Browne and many others.

Three Face2Face concerts are postponed due to Elton John Illness.

Sir Elton John has checked into a London hospital for treatment of an e-coli infection
and the flu. The Billy Joel/Elton John Concerts originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th, Saturday, November 7th and Tuesday November 10th have been postponed.
Organizers of the events are working to establish new dates. All patrons who have purchased tickets for these concerts at the Key Arena, and the Rose Garden Arena, are being asked to hold on to their tickets until more information is available regarding the proposed rescheduled engagements.
