Here is the latest video from Billy Joel's Q&A session with Alec Baldwin, which took place following a screening of "The Last Play At Shea" documentary at the Hamptons International Film Festival. In this new piece from our Billy Joel "Questions & Answers" lecture series, Billy was asked if he's continuing to write songs, and whether he'll be recording new music soon.
"The Last Play At Shea" documentary film is available on DVD, and the concert release "Live At Shea Stadium: The Concert" is now available on CD and DVD!

Recording/Releasing?
He didn't give us any insight to whether or not he will be releasing any of this music. I am a true Billy Joel fan. I don't need Rock/Pop Billy anymore than he wants give it to us, but I would love anything new from him. It doesn't matter if it's thematic, classical, or even Billy Joel jazz would be great, I just want him to share his musical ideas. Billy's time isn't over yet, it has just changed.
PS- I bet Bill could write some kick-ass orchestral rock, ie. Prelude/AYM or Boston's Foreplay, things of that nature.
