“20th Century Cycles: The Motorcycle as Art and Icon” is a 'themed' exhibit based on three categories - 1. American Classics 2. Metric Culture 3. Cafe Racers. The Exhibit will include close to 20 bikes from Billy Joel’s private collection, as well as some motorcycle art. The Exhibit represents Billy’s passion for bikes, and the history behind the bikes.

Billy Joel seems like a fair and considerate person, so I hope that he will advocate
QUIET BIKES. Motorcycles are a wonderful hobby and transport but the roar of bikes is not an art form and disturbing of the peace to the many for the few. LOUD PIPES DO NOT SAVE LIVES.

'65 PANHEAD
My father had a '65 panhead and when he used to get home from work tired as all hell and grumpy, he would throw me on with him and ride that S.O.B. down Ocean Parkway like no tomorrow. We both came back with s*** ass grins on our faces and all was well with the world again. I miss those days, but forever got the bug to ride.
My girl and I took a ride to the North Shore this past Sunday and stopped at a local watering hole to quench our thirst and parked there was a Royal Enfield military bike, man it was perfect. A true classic and done so well.
So, while smoking a butt and eyeing this machine and a Indian parked next to it, I noticed a Billy Joel looking guy at the table wearing a Indian motorcycle hat and asked him if it was his Indian and briefly talked some s*** about bikes.
To be honest I havent listened to Billy Joel since I was an 8th grade punk chasing girls, but when someone told me it was him and he owned the Enfield that would be displayed at a show, I went on this site to get more info. His list of bikes is pretty well rounded with some great classics, oh yeah the '65 panhead is also listed. A '49 knuckle head....nice. looks like a great exhibit. Worth checking out.

As a 52 yr old Fellow Man that grew up in a "Town Known as Oyster Bay Long Island", I need desperately to Contact Billy Joel, regarding a Song I wrote to Help Save the Whales. This is for a Serious Cause, something we all should be involved with. I am not looking for Autographs, Pics or anything Silly like that.
I just need his Email Address so I can discuss raising Money W/ the Song I Wrote for a NON PROFIT Organization that Helps Save Whales Worldwide. If I could only contact Mr. Joel, I am sure he would agree that there should be no need to pay for this info. I am Disabled, and do not have Money to Eat, no less find and purchase an E-Mail Address. Please! I know you are a Business, but Between Rent/Bills and Meds, I have to Borrow just to Eat. I cannot afford to join any Service just for a single Email Address. This is a Non-Profit Organization that places Human Lives on the Line each Day for the Benefit of us all.
