Hi Billy my name is Stephanie and I’m 14 years old, I’m a big fan I did everything possible to get tickets to see you with Elton in Ottawa in June i called ticket master I went online I called radio stations nothing worked. I started listening to you because of my dad I was maybe 9-10 years old. My dad as a gift framed one of your albums “ an innocent man” and also a few years ago I went to Orlando, Florida( Disney world) and we bought a dauphin clock and every three hours or so it play the melody of your song honesty. My parents say I’m a Billy Joel freak! I’ve read about you i know your whole life by the back of my hand, I’m always listening to you i bought 2 DVD’s, I have all your available songs on my mp3 . I’m getting your Billy Joel sweater for Christmas and the DVD “the piano men” and I could just go on and on of how much I love you and your music and your song writing and your voice even though you say you don’t have a voice I love how you play with your voice: P anyway all this to see or find out if someday you would come back in Ottawa or Toronto or Montreal anywhere near here and to let me know please. And also happy 60th late birthday (May 9th)

I wish billy joel would relese another album as great as this one. Rest asured they are all great but, want to see another album that he can make so easily. 'Cause this was the album that finally got him to platinum.

My 40th birthday's present!
Yes! For my 40th birthday last December I had the box set: wonderful,fantastic,incredible! Nobody makes me feel in this way! My greatest dream is having a man who writes for me "She's always a woman"...YOU'RE MY HOME! Come on, Billy! You'll find a woman who 'll love you as you deserve! Since I was 8, i started stealing a tape from the oldest of my 12 siblings, in which the first song was piano man. It was amazing for me. But the first time I was really shocked was when i heard this record for the first time (also stolen). Then I became a really billymaniac. Now, the youngest of my six sons and daughters is called Billy. Few people in Spain understand it. Many people think i'm crazy. Yes, i am a real billymaniac. And my wife and the six too!!

Been Listening To Billy Since I Was Born!!
I have been listening to Billy Joel since I was born. Many good memories happened while listening to his music and when I listen to it today it reminds me of those memories of the time I spent growing up with my mom.
I can't say I have any favorite songs because I love them all!! Ok, maybe I'm a little partial to "Scene's from an Italian Restaurant"

i think my favroit song in this thing is "vienna". it is a great song. me and one of my best friends, alyssa made up a dance to it. its really fun to sing and dance to. though i really suck at dancing.

Wish I could get to see the Elton John Billy Joel tour somewhere this year. COming over to US from UK 23rd July to 21st August with a mate. Doing route 66 wish we could come across the show.

This album is a classic! the first time i heard "Only The Good Die Young" i was hooked. Billy Joel has been my absolute favorite singer/songwriter since 1978.

I love this album!!! Billy Joel has been one of my main "teachers" on the piano. I learned to play by copying what I heard on his songs. The Stranger is probably my favorite of all of his songs, alongside Piano Man and Keeping the Faith.

Box set
Just bought this limited edition box set whilst on holiday in New England last week.
Already thrilled at the inclusion of the little "notebook" which shows all the original hand-written lyrics by Joel (and the changes to words that he made whilst composing the superb original Stranger LP).
Can't wait to play of the old BBC Whistle Test tracks as this show is rarely shown by the BBC ) I think I've only seen it broadcast twice in the UK in my lifetime) and is always in an edited version.
