BERMUDA SAYS THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

Hello there - we (me,hubby, brother in law & sister in law) came from Bermuda to see the EJ/BJ concert at Gillette on Saturday nite! Have been wanting to see them since they first went on tour together back in 2001 was it ? and we finally wangled it!! And you know what - it was by far the best 3 hour show I have ever seen in my life and the first time I have been in a stadium that basically holds the population of Bermuda! All we can say is WOW, AWESOME, FAN-FECKIN-TASTIC, SUPERB, WONDERFUL, AMAZING etc etc ..... ! The atmosphere was just unbelievable and we didn't want it to end ..... Watching two of the best entertainers/pianists and seeing all ages sing along to their songs and dancing and cheering and clapping gave me goosebumps - it was bloody brilliant! It took us 2 1/2 hrs to get out of the parking lot and back to our hotel which was only a 10 minute drive down the street BUT didn't care!! Ha ha! So thanks so very much Billy and Elton for entertaining us so royally for 3 hours - you blew us away! Wish we could have sat closer but perhaps another time! How about you guys release a CD of one of your concerts pretty please with coolwhip and sprinkles!! Thanks again - can you tell we had the time of our lives!?

I'm from STL, and after seeing the Face2Face Tour there in May, I just HAD to see it again before it was over! So I talked to friends from high school (who I hadn't seen in 10 years!) into letting me stay with them and going with me to the MA show. After making the 3 hour flight, you did not disappoint! Even better than the STL show! The best part of the night was during Piano Man, when the music cut off and all that could be heard was the 53,000+ crowd singing everyword together! It was amazing! It actually made me tear-up because I knew the show was over! Sad It was also worth the hour and half it took us to get out of the parking lot! Please keep touring Billy, because if you retire, I just might die of sadness! Thanks for the great memories and awesome tunes!

Billy and Elton Fantastic in Foxboro

What a great night at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.!! Billy and Elton were both fantastic. It was just an absolute pleasure to see these two ultimate professionals singing hit after hit after hit. The weather was perfect, the stadium was full, and both singers did not disappoint. I hope it is not the last time I get to see them together again. However, if it was, it is a memory I will always have.
Kudos to Billy for his artistic wizardry with a fly swatter. It seems he was bothered by some pretty big winged creatures on stage. He said,"These bugs are freakin' BIG!! They look like B-52's!!" For most of the second half of the show he was swatting and whapping and spinning and slapping with his trusted swatter........all the while still singing away!! The bugs didn't seem to bother Elton. (Maybe the bugs didn't like English blood!!)
Anyway, thanks again to two of the most gifted musicians I have ever had the pleasure to see. Keep on rockin' and thanks for the memories!!

This concert was absolutely amazing. It was an evening that I venture to say I'll never forget.
Billy Joel was fantastic. He blew the crowd away with hit after hit. He made my night by singing Allentown (where I'm from) and of course, Piano Man! I am ready to go to another face2face concert!

My first concert . . . the first time around

Face2Face was my first concert back in 1994 (at the ripe old age of 13), when Gillette Stadium was just a twinkle in a developer's eye. I saw them at Foxboro Stadium. I hadn't really listened to either one's music that much so I went to Tape World, and got a Billy Joel tape (he came up first alphabetically), and the rest is history. I've been a huge fan since then. I've seen him at least 5 more times, and even got to meet him once! I'm so psyched to see them both again!!

Another 4th Timer

I've seen Elton and Billy in Buffalo (at Rich Stadium), Syracuse(at the Carrier Dome..with FRONT ROW SEATS!), and Albany(at the Pepsi Arena). Every concert has been just fantastic. Although I've seen Elton and Billy many times in concert seperately, there is nothing like the experience of seeing them in concert together. I look forward to seeing this one because, face it, (excuse the pun) none of us are getting any younger!! I know that for a fact, as the first time I saw Elton John was in the summer of 1976, when I was a mere 17!! You do the math.
So anyway, this old man and his wife are going to be at Gillette Stadium in July....see you there!!

4th time

Hello,
To JFeeney, I just wanted to let you know my first concert ever was when I was 18 - it was Billy Joel, and Elton John in Philedelphia. It was great, and I hardly knew any Elton songs. Then I saw them both again in Toronto - I knew more Elton songs so it was even better. Then I saw Billy by himself in Boston - That was thee Greatest show I've ever seen! You will not be disappointed! They are both great performers. I have been to 2 other concerts (embarassed to say whom) but this is my 4th time seeing Billy and I just can't wait!! I have waited since 99 to see him again. He is the best. I'm sure you'll have the time of your life.

First Concert

I know this is going to sound kind of lame but this is going to be my first concert and I am 29. I am glad this is my first concert because I will be able to see 2 of the best pianists in the world on one stage. I am so excited!
