I listen to his live performance 17years ago, @ Tokyo dome. When I was 17years old.
Billy, your vocal is really hot and your band member is so exciting!
Now on vocal the depth is increasing more and more. I bet.

That was 3rd time for me last night concert.

I was so excited at the Tokyo Dome.

Billy is great.

I have been fan of him for 30years.

I saw Billy's concert 2 years ago in Tokyo at the same Dome, from nosebleed seats, (we had arena seats last night) but even then I was impressed with the crystal clear sound. Last night I took my wife to the show and we were both blown away by the same sound system as well as Billy's incredible vocal talents. I believe Billy sounds better now than when most of these songs first came out so many years ago.
I read someone's comments here that the show was almost the same as last time Billy was here, but I disagree. You cannot really compare any 2 concerts, as the show is a joint effort of all the people onstage. Each and every show is somewhat different. I personally love watching Crystal Taleifero's energetic performance and her backup vocals truly compliment Billy Joels'. Crystal also plays a mean sax, Very cool lady.
The Japanese fans have a special respect and love for Billy Joel, and this show was special for a small group of lucky fans who met with Billy backstage before the show. They were selected as they still have their ticket stubs from Billy Joel's first performance in Japan exactly 30 years ago.
How many recent artists today will be able to pack the 50,000 seat Tokyo Dome 30 years from now?

It reminded me many memories back into my sweet school days in '70s, just like a Matsuda Seiko count down concert since I've not been to his concert for past 10 yrs. It was so much sour sweet to me.

Comparing the concert held in the US, Japan version is quite short than those. I do want to spend my time with him and people who love him and his songs just like as if we are in his home country.

However I also can infer he and us are no longer so young to spend our energy. It was Tuesday, not Friday, we have to work on Wednesday, have to go back to real life. We now have a place to work, family to protect, but also have life to enjoy. Honestly speaking I really hope all night concert.

Just back from the show and the set list was almost identical from the last time the show came to Tokyo. The highlight was Zanzibar which was a joy-disappointing not to hear Scenes from an Italian Restaurant especially has the The Stranger legacy edition has been plugged so much here.

Would have been great to either have had alot of rarely heard songs or just stripped down versions of the classic songs with Billy on piano only.

BTW- Chainsaw was fun but we have already been there.

Fingers crossed for something special when the Elton show comes around

Just got home from the concert. AWESOME!!!! Sounded great!! She can ruin your face with her powerful thighs? Had to explain that one to my wife. She is Japanese. Had a great time explaining by the way (on the train ride home in front of a packed house). Thanks for the show and great memories to come. Hope to see you in concernt again Soon!!!

We are moving back to NYC this Saturday after living in Tokyo for 5 years and Billy is a perfect way to begin the transition.

My daughter favorite song at her 4 years old was `Uptown Girl`.Now she is 5 year, she is trying to play `piano man` with her harmonica. We love all songs...See you at Tokyo Dome, uncle Billy..!
