Which is better?

Which is better?

Ok I have ordered my 8 and 9th Billy CDs. Did it online and waiting for them to arrive any day now!!!!
As I wasn't born to buy most of his CDs the first time they were released (apart from the legacy edition of the stranger) here I am trying to build up my collection to make it complete.

The CDs I have ordered are Nylon Curtain and Stormfront

So.....what are they like? Do they remind you of any other albums or are they completely different? any comments would be nice, thanks

Gosh Albie
I thought you were younger than me.
It sounds as if you were a teenager in the 60's, is that right?

I grew up at the right time. When the Beatles arrived, they blew the doors open for everyone else..We owe a big debt of gratitude to those guys.It was an exciting and new time.

To my shame as a Brit, I've never been a big Beatles fan.
I was just that tiny little bit too young. My Uncle is only a few years older than me and I remember sitting on his bedroom floor listening to Beatles music on a mono record player. I was entranced by the cover on Sergeant Pepper and spent ages looking at it.
I hit my teens in the 70's and was more in to 10CC, Elton, Queen, Pink Floyd, Donna Summer etc.
The 70's was a great decade to be a teenager.
But I agree, I think NC is BJ's most Beatlesesque album.

Nylon C is a big tip of the hat to Billys Love of the Beatles. It is all over the album. Billys work is laced with Beatle influences..Revolver is in a league of its own.

I think NC is very reminiscent of the Beattles. Monster thinks it is in the same style as Revolver (Beattles). I think Storm Front was written after his tour of the USSR, as it was then, and you can see how he was influenced by it.

I LOVE Nylon Curtain. Its a great mix of social commentary and great music. Top to bottom really good. YOu know, I really like Storm Front as well! Just have been listening to NC more lately but both are amazing in their own right. NC is probably my favorite of the two. Leans more towards the style of his older stuff versus Storm Front which kind of gives us a hint of the newer stuff he would write.
