Thanks for Nothing Mr. Joel !!

Thanks for Nothing Mr. Joel !!

We are now over a month since the Buffalo concert was rescheduled. HSBC has no news about any new dates for the "rescheduled concert" and will not give anymore information...

We spent over 400 bucks for tix...plus cost of gas, day off from work etc..like many other fans of both singers...As someonone has pointed out elsewhere..this whole fiasco was handled like amateurs..

At the very least it would be nice to hear from the Joel camp either in the form of an apology and whether this concert is or is not going to be rescheduled...Meanwhile my money is in someone else's pocket generating interest....

Oh my 15 year old son sadly remains a huge Billy Joel fan ...and still has hopes the concert will come to fruition...You have a deadline Mr. Joel...make an announcement by Sept 7...so the rest of us can get our money back and get on with our lives...

i agree. i too had $400 into floor tickets for the albany show, and if you count my 2 brother in laws, we had over $800. it has ruined my summer. me and my huisband's seventh anniversary was july 28, so it was the perfect present. we ended up getting our money back, which was just as hard to take as the cancellation. like someone said in another forum, who wants to return tickets to elton john and billy joel??? but my husband keeps saying, it was billy joel who ruined it, not us. and he's right. but we had a days notice. buffalo did not. what happened to buffalo was awful, but buffalo and albany are going through the same bull sh**. this whole situation has been handled with absolutly no regard for the fans. who cares about them?? we'll get to it when we get to it. i really hope to have the chance to see him again in the future, as i have never seen him before. i will, however, be hesitant spending that much money on tickets again. this has just been too much stress, and headache.

the blatant disregard for working class people who struggled to meet the high price for the tickets......waiting patiently for a new date blows my mind. .Mr Joel has a PR person that should have been up front from the get go.....I want my money plus interest!!!!!!!

How surreal, it is now almost two (2) months since the postponement of the Billy Joel/Elton John concert at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY, and still, not a word of a reschedule, an apology or a cancellation. Everyone I have contacted can give me no information regarding this problem. I want to voice my frustration in this forum and hope that others will too (I'm sure that there are many out there). I have $534.00 invested in this concert that I am unable to be refunded from TICKETSNOW.COM (which, by the way, I believe to be a colossal rip-off, with their bloated prices simply because I wanted good seats and it was a popular (?) venue) unless this concert is officially CANCELLED. Please, Mr. Joel, or whoever is responsible for tour dates, cancel the thing and let us fans get our money back.
