This postponement / rescheduling situation for the Buffalo concert has been handled atrociously. Almost a month after the cancellation and still no word on a new date. I, like many other fans, spent alot of money and took time off work for a show that was cancelled 3 hours prior to start (for me, we drove 4.5 hours only to be told by a waitress in a restaurant that the show was off). Every person that had tickets to this show was affected finanically by this cancellation (gas, hotel, tolls, babysitting, food, etc.). I'd also like to second another comment posted recently that it is unacceptable that there has been no apology or comment made by Billy himself. No, "So sorry folks" or "couldn't be avoided" at least. This has been handled poorly by his Management and HSBC Arena. Personally, I feel that Billy and his Management should do something for the fans that are able to retun to the (hopefully) rescheduled date. Maybe something like a free Program or T-Shirt for all of our troubles? What is the actually cost of an item like this? $5 bucks? For 18500 fans that would cost our them around $94K in total, but I'm willing to bet that most people lost a whole lot more than $5 in lost wages and expenses due to this fiasco. I think it would be a nice gesture on the part of Billy and the Management to say "sorry" for all the hassels. At this time, I would be happy to hear whether or not there is actually even going to be a show. NOTE TO BILLY: make a statement, reschedule the new date and apologize (with or heart or your wallet)...your fans derserve some sign that you hear us!!!!
