Albany, NY Concert
Hey all! Even though the Albany concert had to be rescheduled it's still on for december!!! YAYAYAYAY! Soooooo excited! Anyway...I just want everyone to know my husband and I booked rooms at a hotel located downtown...can't remember if it was a hilton or a hampton (my hubby booked it!)...something like that. But the rooms were at a great price and for those who are traveling, like us, its worth it because we are going to go out downtown after the show and from what my husband said its in a good location. We thought it would be fun if there were other fans staying there and then we could all go out together! We did this for another show a few years ago and it was awesome so if anyone is interested please get ahold of me at jmmuskey@gmail.com!

The Billy Joel & Elton John Face 2 Face concert scheduled for December 7 at the Times Union Center has been rescheduled for March 11, 2010 at 7:30pm.
All tickets currently being held for the originally scheduled Face 2 Face concert on December 7 at the Times Union Center will be valid for the rescheduled March 11 concert. If necessary, refunds are available at point of purchase.

Well another concert date has come and gone! I was so upset when the first Albany concert was cancelled, but felt better when it was rescheduled for Dec. 7, why wouldnt I, I had great floor seats third row back, this was a once in a life time opportunity! Well now that it has ONCE AGAIN been pushed back to March of 2010 THE THRILL IS NOW GONE, I do not wish to see them just to be let down again..the tickets went up for sale....This is now written 24 hours later....I paid $800.00 for two tickets, in less than 24 hours later mine resold for $1200.00, thanks billy joel and elton john for all the disappoinments, but at least this looks good in a bleak economy!!!

i had tickets for 17 rows back, center stage. when he cancelled the first time, it broke my heart. we have 4 kids, and when back to school time hit, and we were broke, we really had no choice but to get our money back. i cried the whole day our refund was final, as i never got to see billy joel in concert. they announced the newdate within days of us getting our refund. but, again, with 4 kids, we knew we could not afford to repurchase tickets for the beginning of december, with christmas coming and all. however, we might be able to purchase tickets for march. as much as this whole situation sucks, i am thrilled at the fact i might be able to see him after all.!!!! lets just hope he doesn't postpone again!!
I find it ironic when I resold my tickets for the rescheduled albany concert, that there were only 56 tickets available to purchase. Now a week later there are over 100! I think the entire community is outraged over this whole fiasco. Maybe they should both retire and save the world alot of headaches!
Funny how this show was supposed to be tonight. I was thinking about going but it's quite the hike for me (from Queens) and only floor tix were available... but now I see cheaper ones are back on sale... hm... THinking about snagging those before it's too late, but still kinda iffy on this one cause of all the cancelations and the distance. Wish they would just announce a NYC/Long Island/NJ date already. But who knows...
